To understand how your personal data are processed, read information below :

In order to assist you, the Swedish Red Cross collects and processes personal data from you and if necessary, your family members. We treat this data confidentially and in compliance with the regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council and the Code of Conduct on Data Protection of the Family Links Network of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement. We may also collect information about other people than your family members, e.g., the ones you fled with.

You decide if you want to provide us with your personal data and what other information you want to give us.

Please contact the Swedish Red Cross if you have a question, complaint, or would like more information about how we handle your personal data, or want to request access to, change or erase the personal data you have provided us.

After the Swedish Red Cross has received your information, the Swedish Red Cross will contact you to go through how The Swedish Red Cross may share your personal data with other parties involved in the process (e. g. other National Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), other humanitarian organisations, authorities or administrative bodies).  You will then be able to indicate whether restrictions on the transfer of personal data to bodies outside the Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement should apply.
